Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Maintenance Manager to lead our groundskeeping and landscaping teams in delivering exceptional outdoor environments. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance, including lawn care, plant health, hardscaping projects, and irrigation systems. Your leadership will ensure that our outdoor spaces are vibrant, healthy, and meticulously maintained, reflecting the highest standards of horticulture and grounds management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Oversee hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance. Manage irrigation systems—installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing watering schedules to promote plant health and conserve water. Lead a team of groundskeepers and landscapers by providing clear direction, training, and support to enhance productivity and skill development. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care; diagnose issues related to pests or diseases; implement appropriate treatment plans. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently; maintain equipment in good working order for optimal performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all landscape operations. Skills Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles. Proven supervising experience with team management skills that motivate staff toward shared goals. Strong understanding of plant identification, tree care, groundcover management, and gardening best practices. Experience managing hardscape construction projects including patios, pathways, walls, and other outdoor features. Proficiency in irrigation management—installation, troubleshooting, repairs—and understanding of irrigation systems. Ability to operate company vehicles safely along with groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Outdoor work experience demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail in diverse weather conditions. Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively across teams. Knowledge of safety protocols related to landscaping equipment operation and hardscape construction. $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
