Landscape Maintenance Route Manager - The Villages, FL We are a growing landscape maintenance company seeking a reliable, motivated Landscape Maintenance Route Manager to run and maintain a residential route in The Villages, FL area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality work, can lead by example, and is ready to take ownership of a route.
Position Details:
Monday to Friday schedule, starting at 7:00 AM (occasional Saturdays as needed) Starting at $19.00 per hour (based on experience, with opportunities for raises) Paid overtime (time and a half) for all hours over 40 Clear path to higher pay based on performance and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and complete a daily residential landscape maintenance route Perform and oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance, with a primary focus on hedge and shrub trimming and detailed property cleanup, while also assisting with mowing, edging, and blowing as needed Lead and work alongside a small crew to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards Maintain consistent, high-quality results across all assigned properties Safely operate trucks, trailers, and commercial landscaping equipment Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs Communicate with management regarding route progress, issues, and customer needs
Requirements:
Prior landscape maintenance experience required Leadership or crew leader experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Ability to stay productive and lead by example throughout the day Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be able to drive truck and trailer) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat and weather Reliable transportation to our shop in Belleview Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
