Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our aircraft maintenance facility in Vero Beach FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all equipment and facilities, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in aircraft maintenance, and excellent project management skills. •Pay commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Lead and supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Develop and implement maintenance schedules Oversee the repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance of piston and corporate jet aircraft Work with TBX maintenance program, Word, Excel and other supporting technology Read and interpret maintenance manuals Manage projects related to facilities management, equipment upgrades, and system improvements with effective project management practices. Ensure compliance with safety regulations Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance operations. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they impact operations. Experience 8-15 years of aircraft maintenance experience for the right, motivated individual (20 years + preferred) Proven management experience in an aircraft maintenance environment with supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance including mechanical systems, electrical systems, engines, troubleshooting. Strong understanding of facilities management principles within an aircraft maintenance setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment. Experience in project management related to aircraft maintenance operations Excellent communication skills are essential for team coordination and reporting purposes.
