Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the Brand new Hilton Hotel, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of maintenance technicians while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in facilities management, HVAC systems, and maintenance management, and other hotel mainteanance requirement Responsibilities Home2 Suites by Hilton Vero Beach FL, is currently looking for a knowledgeable and energetic full-time Maintenance Worker. This is a fast-paced environment and requires a high sense of urgency. A major focus of this position is the guestroom preventative maintenance program. The hotel maintenance associate is responsible for all guestrooms and common areas of the property including the meeting room, fitness center, pool, exterior and grounds, and assists in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, ptacs, and motors. Maintain the hotel's Hilton Preventative Maintenance Program, keeping consistently updated records on file. Complete work order requests in a timely manner as per established procedures Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition. Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, to include plumbing, kitchen, mechanical, laundry, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, caulking, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs Knowledge of/experience with swimming pool operation is preferable but not required Be effective in anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, including the repair and/or replacement of air conditioning units. Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including television sets, light fixtures, etc. Report requests for major repairs to the General Manager and other department heads in accordance with hotel procedures. Ensure security and proper usage and organization of supplies, tools, carts, and store rooms. Respond to guest requests for immediate repairs. Be available to work a flexible schedule; After hours on-call availability is required if an issue arises; work-week includes weekends. Perform work duties in accordance with Company safety and security policies and procedures, as well as in accordance with posted OSHA, HazCom and Blood Borne Pathogen regulations and other applicable state and local regulations. A high school diploma with technical or vocational schooling is preferred.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
