POSITION TITLE

Maintenance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and manage technicians engaged in machine or facility repairs, upgrades, or installations to ensure timely and thorough and safe repairs and work

REPORTING TO

Position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checks production schedules and confers with other departments, manages and staff to determine when planned maintenance least interferes with operations
• Leads weekly maintenance portion of the operations planning meeting
• Works with the Maintenance Manager and Plant Management to conduct deep dive analysis into down time events and implements counter measures
• Manages the CMMS and studies maintenance schedules to estimate labor hours required for completion of job assignments
• Conducts quality control for repairs and PMs .
• Enforces parts room process adherence
• Maintains training records and develops individual training plans for maintenance technicians with the Maintenance Manager
• Works with Maintenance Manager to develop Maintenance score card and reporting for the daily GEMBA walkthrough to monitor PM and repair effectiveness
• Works with Maintenance Manager develops and maintains critical spare parts inventory
• Supervises maintenance technicians in performing equipment trouble shooting, as necessary .
• Partners with Plant Management on production line and facility improvements .
• Works with Maintenance Manager and Plant Management to develop and implement autonomous maintenance program
• Works with Maintenance Manager and Plant Management develop and implement TPM program to include vibration analysis, thermos, and ultra-sonic technologies
• Performs other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience, in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel , Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous maintenance supervisory experience .
• AB or BS in Maintenance, Engineering, or related field.
• AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred .

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Position will be located at any of our plant locations.
• Moderate dust.
• Working from heights.
• Working in confined spaces.
• Moderate noise .
• Automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Hot and cold climates.
• Must be able to work around hot asphalt tanks, lines, and pumps constantly .

Physical Requirements:

• Standing 8 - 12 hours a day
• Occasional lifting up to 60 lbs . ; assisted lifting up to 120 lbs .
• ty to climb stairs often and ladders periodically .
• Ability to work shift work .
• Visual Acuity (including color perception).
• Good Hearing.
