Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the care of our building, grounds, preventive maintenance, life-safety support, vendors, and maintenance team. What You'll Do Continuously monitor the building and grounds and ensure maintenance, repair, and safety concerns are addressed promptly. Develop, manage, and document preventive maintenance programs, resident work orders, inspections, and required logs. Oversee apartment turns and ensure vacated units are prepared timely for tours and moveins. Manage maintenance department staffing, scheduling, oncall coverage, training, performance, supplies, tools, and departmental expenses. Coordinate contractors, service agreements, inspections, and specialized repairs while monitoring quality and cost. Support fire drills, emergency preparedness, generator readiness, lifesafety systems, and emergency supplies as required. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Demonstrated knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and grounds. Strong leadership, organization, communication, vendor management, and problemsolving skills. Preferred Experience Three or more years of maintenance/facilities experience preferred. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
