Duties Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance across all hotel systems Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems such as HVAC units, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and industrial equipment Develop and manage maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations (OSHA) and industry best practices Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset management Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex issues involving schematics, electrical circuits, HVAC system repair, and mechanical systems repair Ensure compliance with safety standards by implementing OSHA regulations and maintaining accurate safety documentation Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations using project management principles while coordinating with vendors and contractors Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Microsoft Office tools and ensure all work adheres to safety regulations Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; perform plumbing system maintenance and repair as needed Enforce safety regulations across all operations to protect staff and guests while promoting a culture of continuous improvement in facilities management Skills Strong management skills with experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in a hospitality setting Extensive mechanical knowledge covering HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and industrial maintenance Proficiency in using Schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities and managing assets effectively Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safety procedures specific to facilities management in hospitality environments Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting, training, and team coordination Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; ability to manage low voltage and high voltage electrical systems Leadership qualities necessary for managing facilities teams while fostering a safe work environment Mechanical systems repair expertise including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical system troubleshooting, and general industrial maintenance This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team committed to excellence in hotel operations.
