TrackId=[MyTrackingId]&ApplyToJob=604442240&full_apply=&jobid=604442240 The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the campus, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role leads the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs while managing day-to-day maintenance needs across production equipment and facility systems. This is a hands on leadership position. The Maintenance Manager actively works alongside maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. This position serves a key link between operations and maintenance teams, ensuring equipment performance supports production goals while driving continuous improvement and long term asset reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations & Equipment Reliability Oversee daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment upkeep Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to minimize production downtime Review equipment performance and address recurring issues Coordinate emergency repairs and ensure rapid response to equipment failures Preventive Maintenance and Planning Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems Ensure proper documentation and tracking of maintenance activities Analyze maintenance data to improve equipment reliability and extend asset life Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory levels Implement continuous improvement in maintenance planning and execution Inspection & Quality Control Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility systems Ensure all machinery operates within manufacturer and safety specifications Identify, document, and resolve equipment deficiencies Reduce breakdowns, rework, and inefficiencies through proactive maintenance practices Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, direction, and support to maintenance technicians Train and mentor team members on equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure high quality work Communicate maintenance needs and performance metric to upper management Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety standars, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance and work areas (5S) Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies in equipment performance and maintenance processes Recommend and implement improvements to increase uptime and productivity Support lean manufacturing and reliability centered maintenance initiatives Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent exposure to industrial environments including noise, heat, and machinery Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and protective gear
Pay:
$85,000.00 per year
