Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in facility performance while fostering a proactive maintenance culture that minimizes downtime and maximizes efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise and management skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of the facilities maintenance team, including technicians responsible for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems repair. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and asset histories. Troubleshoot engineering issues across mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high and low voltage), HVAC systems, and manufacturing equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget while adhering to safety standards. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems such as HVAC units, plumbing networks, electrical panels, and high-voltage equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by enforcing proper lockout/tagout procedures, safety protocols, and conducting regular safety training sessions for the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes through effective facilities management and engineering troubleshooting. Skills Proven management experience overseeing facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Extensive electrical experience including working with low voltage and high voltage systems; familiar with schematics and using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance best practices. Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot engineering issues efficiently. Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS software for work order tracking and asset management. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on safety regulations enforcement and team development. Project management skills to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
