$80,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking a seasoned, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take the lead in maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our maintenance department, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally to support our production goals. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily activities of the maintenance department, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate with production management to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing operations. Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, initiating reordering when necessary. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Manage maintenance budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources. Continuously evaluate the performance of equipment and systems, recommending improvements or upgrades as necessary. Keep abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and systems to improve maintenance processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent understanding of safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred. Certification in maintenance management or a related field is a plus.
