Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead - Full Time Brist Landscape | Savannah, GA / The Landings Brist Landscape is looking for an experienced and dependable Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead to lead one of our maintenance crews. This is a hands-on leadership position. The Crew Lead works alongside the crew while taking responsibility for the quality, efficiency, and completion of each property. We are looking for someone who notices the details, communicates well, and takes ownership of the work being completed by their team.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew Manage the daily route and keep the crew moving efficiently Mow, edge, string trim, blow, prune, and perform general landscape maintenance Inspect each property before leaving and correct issues before they become callbacks Ensure edging, trimming, beds, hardscapes, and cleanup meet company standards Direct crew members and communicate expectations throughout the day Communicate property concerns, client requests, damages, or other issues to the supervisor/office Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable operating a box truck and pickup truck with trailer Able to safely back, maneuver, park, and position trailers in residential areas and tight spaces Able to safely load, secure, and transport landscaping equipment and materials Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment preferred

Qualifications:

Previous professional landscape maintenance experience required Crew lead or leadership experience preferred Experience operating commercial mowers and landscape equipment Ability to identify quality issues and correct them without constant supervision Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive a truck and trailer Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor throughout the day We need someone who understands that being a Crew Lead means taking ownership of the entire property—not simply completing their individual tasks. You will be expected to lead by example, catch problems before the client does, and make sure your crew consistently produces quality work.

The Landings Pay:

$55,000 - $65,000 Brist Landscape has served the Savannah area for more than 35 years. We take pride in quality work, accountability, and doing the job right the first time.
