Maintenance Personal Job Description Location:
Forest Heights Country Club Reports To:
General Manager /
Director of Operations Position Summary:
The Maintenance Personal is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall condition of all club facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This includes clubhouse buildings, grounds, tennis courts, pool areas, landscaping, mechanical systems, and safety compliance. The role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standards expected by members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance & Operations:
Oversee day-to-day maintenance of clubhouse, fitness center, pool facilities, tennis courts, and other club amenities Assist with tennis court maintenance, including surface care, cleaning, minor repairs, and coordination of resurfacing projects Maintain pool facilities, including deck areas, furniture, and surrounding structures Oversee landscaping and appearance of the club's entrance, front grounds, and common areas to ensure a high-quality first impression Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs Coordinate repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely
Vendor & Contractor Management:
Source, negotiate, and manage third-party vendors and service providers Oversee contracted work to ensure quality and compliance with club standards Maintain service agreements and warranties
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Develop and manage the maintenance department budget Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities Order supplies, tools, and equipment as needed
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Maintain safety programs and conduct regular inspections Respond to emergencies, including after-hours situations
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Work Environment:
This position operates in both indoor and outdoor environments and may be exposed to varying weather conditions, mechanical equipment, and maintenance-related hazards.
