Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage maintenance repair procedures, and coordinate projects to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about industrial maintenance and team management. Responsibilities Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of maintenance repair procedures across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical systems, HVAC units, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage circuits—and plumbing infrastructure. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, training staff on safety procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment. Read schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation. Qualifications Proven supervisory experience in facilities or industrial maintenance management with strong leadership skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems—including high voltage—and plumbing system maintenance. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and industrial maintenance best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes; experience with CMMS software is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and standards related to industrial facilities; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Electrical experience including working with low voltage and high voltage systems; use of testing tools such as ohmmeters required. Excellent communication skills in English for clear team coordination and reporting. Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagrams accurately; experience with HVAC systems repair is a plus.
