Role:
As a CBRE Union Lead Mechanic, you will oversee and support the operation, inspection, and maintenance processes in an assigned facility, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. You will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
Partner with internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts. Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas. This includes HVAC units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, etc. Review and assign work orders to team members. Directly complete ongoing preventive and repairs as needed. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts. Report on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Complete Hazard Assessments. Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. Explain complex information to others in straight forward situations. May convince others to reach an agreement. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE
values. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Exchange straight forward information, ask questions, and check for understanding. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks. Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
