1st Shift or 2nd Shift Take the Lead in a High-Impact Manufacturing Maintenance Role Are you an experienced maintenance leader who knows how to keep equipment running, develop a strong technical team, and solve problems before they impact production? A respected manufacturing company in Denison, Iowa, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for either its first or second shift. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering a competitive salary of $80,000•100,000 per year, plus bonus potential . You will lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and help drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the plant. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment issues, coaching employees, and taking ownership of maintenance performance. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians. Direct maintenance activities across plant operations. Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Coordinate maintenance schedules and repairs with Production teams. Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term corrective solutions. Monitor downtime, equipment reliability, maintenance performance, and key performance indicators. Train employees on safety procedures and maintenance best practices. Support Total Productive Maintenance and continuous-improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate maintenance records and required documentation. Help ensure compliance with USDA and plant requirements. Identify opportunities to improve plant uptime, safety, and production efficiency. Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented maintenance environment. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, or leading maintenance employees. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance principles. Strong planning, organization, and communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work effectively with Maintenance, Production, and other plant departments.
