Job Description

Responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and projects of the facilities maintenance department, including the casino property and leased areas. Oversees maintenance staff, facility systems, compliance, budgets, and capital projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Essential Functions:
Supervise, schedule, delegate, and evaluate Maintenance staff; oversee hiring, training, and development. Manage department budgets, expenses, inventory, and resources in accordance with business needs. Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, alarm systems, generators, grounds, buildings, and equipment. Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance, inspections, and required reports. Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, ADA, PMV, fire, safety, and building requirements. Plan and oversee capital construction, facility improvement, and maintenance projects. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, inspectors, and other departments to support property operations. Promote a safe work environment and ensure the safety of guests and employees. Provide professional and courteous service to internal and external guests. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; four-year degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred. Five to seven years of experience in large-facility maintenance and supervision of maintenance personnel. Knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, facility systems, and applicable codes and regulations. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage personnel, budgets, inventory, and projects. Ability to read blueprints and schematics and operate or learn to operate various maintenance tools, equipment, and utility vehicles. Ability to work effectively under time pressures, manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work an irregular schedule. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with employees, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, and other business partners.
