Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Full Time Janitorial/Maintenance Manager to lead our cleaning and maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our facilities are spotless, safe, and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors alike. As a key leader, you will oversee daily cleaning activities, supervise staff, enforce safety standards, and manage sanitation protocols across various commercial settings. Your proactive approach will drive operational excellence and uphold our commitment to cleanliness and safety. Duties Lead and supervise janitorial and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality cleaning and upkeep of facilities Develop and implement cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, and safety regulations aligned with industry standards Oversee industrial cleaning projects, including heavy-duty sanitation and specialized custodial tasks Manage team workflows, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to meet operational goals Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health codes, safety policies, and cleanliness standards Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service practices Coordinate with vendors for supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement of cleaning products Experience Proven supervisory experience in janitorial services or custodial management within commercial or industrial environments Extensive custodial experience with a strong understanding of sanitation, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management Demonstrated leadership in team supervision, management, and effective communication with staff at all levels Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment, laundry operations, hospitality standards, and housekeeping management preferred Strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address concerns promptly and professionally Prior experience in managing safety compliance programs related to sanitation, industrial cleaning, or facility maintenance
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
