The Opportunity:

As Plant Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance and operation of company facilities, equipment, and shop activities. You will set departmental priorities, manage schedules and budgets, develop team members, oversee preventive maintenance, and partner across the organization to support production. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a key role in keeping plant assets safe, reliable, compliant, and ready to meet operational needs. What You'll Do

• Lead the maintenance and operation of facilities, plant equipment, vehicles, and shop activities.
• Build and manage preventive maintenance programs that reduce downtime, extend asset life, and improve productivity.
• Prioritize work orders, schedules, budgets, and resources to support production and business needs.
• Coach and develop maintenance personnel, ensuring employees are trained, qualified, and equipped to work safely.
• Maintain emergency response plans and contribute facilities and equipment expertise to company safety and security programs.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, licenses, records, and documentation required for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the company liaison for government inspections and permitting processes, including those involving the DEQ and EPA.
• Manage repair, maintenance, fabrication, implement, and vehicle-service expenditures in accordance with established budgets and purchasing requirements.
• Partner with the CFO to maintain accurate asset records and support proper invoice and payroll coding.
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors, verify required documentation, and ensure contracts receive appropriate legal review.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with facilities, equipment, and vehicle use.
• Collaborate with leaders across departments to align maintenance priorities, recommend improvements, and plan for capital needs. What You'll Bring
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in industrial maintenance, facilities management, plant operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel and coordinating preventive maintenance, repairs, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, project management principles, work-order processes, and safe work practices.
• Working knowledge of equipment design, fabrication, and repair practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and remain effective under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and close attention to detail. Education
• Bachelor of Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field. An equivalent combination of technical education, trade school training, and relevant experience will be considered. Schedule and Travel
• Ability to travel approximately 5%-10%.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak operating periods.
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
