Hello, Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, ID is actively looking to hire a full-time Director of Maintenance. At Oak Creek, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. The Maintenance Director is responsible for the maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds: Schedules and executes preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements Performingdocumenting safety tests Understands and ensures compliance with the laws and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities Maintains professional working relationships with all departments, staff, vendors, inspectors, etc. Conducts required inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems for general use and for life safety regularly Operates within a budget under the direction of the Administrator Interacts positively with residents Manages maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments including interviewing/hiring Provide education and training for staff including but not limited to fire safety, emergency preparedness, safety and other state and federal requirements

Life Insurance Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years' commercial/industrial maintenance experience Minimum one year maintenance department leadership experience highly preferred Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is highly preferred Fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus Strong leadership and decision-making skills
