Director of Property Maintenance | St. Charles, ID Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced maintenance professional who thrives on solving problems, leading teams, and keeping high-end properties operating at their best. We are hiring a Director of Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations for a growing portfolio of luxury vacation rental properties in the Bear Lake area. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining more than 30 multimillion-dollar homes while managing a team of maintenance technicians and addressing complex repair and operational challenges. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who embraces accountability, takes ownership of issues from start to finish, and is willing to work alongside their team to ensure every property is maintained to the highest standard. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians. Manage incoming work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency, safety, guest impact, and property needs. Assign work while remaining actively involved in field maintenance and repairs. Ensure all maintenance work is completed efficiently and meets luxury property standards. Serve as the primary resource for troubleshooting complex maintenance issues. Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors when specialized services are required. Perform hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple properties. Diagnose and repair issues related to drywall, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC systems, smart locks, fitness equipment, and general building maintenance. Research and troubleshoot unfamiliar systems and equipment as needed. Support property technology systems, including networking equipment, connectivity issues, and infrastructure troubleshooting. Assist with network setup, IP management, firewall troubleshooting, and data cabling. Oversee and participate in snow-removal operations during winter months. Operate tractors, skid steers, snowplows, and related equipment safely and effectively. Tow trailers carrying tools, equipment, and supplies. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance situations. Communicate professionally with guests, homeowners, vendors, and team members. Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inventory, and operational documentation. Qualifications Previous maintenance leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required. Extensive hands-on residential, commercial, property, or facilities maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple maintenance disciplines. Experience managing work orders, priorities, and maintenance schedules. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex repair issues. Technical aptitude with networking, internet systems, and property technology. Willingness and ability to obtain Ubiquiti UniFi certification. Experience operating tractors, skid steers, snowplows, and other heavy equipment. Ability to safely tow and maneuver trailers. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Comfortable performing physical labor and hands-on maintenance work throughout the day. Ability to recognize when specialized contractors or licensed trades are necessary. Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating on-call responsibilities. Ability to remain within one hour of the Bear Lake area during winter snow-response assignments. Commitment to workplace safety and company policies. Ability to comply with a drug-free and vape-free workplace.
Preferred:
Experience supporting luxury homes, vacation rentals, hospitality properties, or high-end residential communities. Ubiquiti UniFi certification or advanced networking experience. Previous experience managing maintenance operations across multiple properties. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and asset management. Familiarity with the principles of Extreme Ownership and proactive leadership. Pay $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Schedule Full Time | Seasonal workload fluctuations based on business needs

Approximately 50+ hours per week
Off-Season:
