JOB SUMMARY

The Schrade Gym Building Supervisor is responsible for the running of Schrade Gym Rentals as assigned. This includes providing customer service, opening and closing the facility, set-up and take down of all rented equipment, and monitoring the facility during the rental. This is an at-will position.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

Set up gym prior to the rental.

This includes:

batting cages, pitching machines, soccer goals, etc. Welcome and meet with renters to review rental time and equipment. Monitor the gym, bathroom, rooms, and general facility and any other immediate areas for problems and attempt to solve them to the best of your ability. Be attentive and alert at all times and be available to answer questions. Interact with people in a professional and friendly manner. Trouble shoot any situations and use the 'on call' calendar when needed. Communicate any issues, concerns, and/or damage to the Recreation Manager. Clean up and put away all equipment at the end of the rental. Upon leaving, ensure gym is clean, lights are turned off, alarm is set and exterior doors are locked. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least16 years of age and have the ability to organize and set up for rentals. Should be mature and responsible and able to use initiative to problem solve. Should have an outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.

HOURS & PAY

Various hours are available. Candidates should have weekend availability. Pay rate is between $16 - $17 an hour.
