We are a contract manufacturing aluminum extrusion business making aluminum impacts for our customers in a near-net-shape condition as well as performing value added machining services. Maintenance Managers are responsible for the overall plant maintenance and coordination of activities with other departments in a manner which results in the production of quality product at a cost and schedule consistent with company policies, customer service, and plant objectives. Maintenance Manager Essential Functions Responsible for facility upgrading and maintenance on Presses, CNC machines, robots, and other equipment. Analyze equipment needs, evaluate suppliers, and select new equipment to support production needs.. Design and build end of arm tooling for robotics. Work with production team to design and build production automation and test equipment. Participates as a member of multi-disciplinary Product Quality Planning teams as needed. Performs other duties that may be assigned. Keeping inventory of critical spares. Managing budget. Manage the Maintenance team across multiple shifts. Maintenance Manager Required Experience Proven experience 3-5 years as a maintenance manager or similar role. Knowledge of Presses, CNC machines, and support equipment. Knowledge of tool room equipment (CNCs, EDMs, lathes, grinders). Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to read, analyze and interpret tooling and part drawings. Ability to draft reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, subcontractors, and employees. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Technical, hands-on, aptitude required. Maintenance Manager Physical Demands and Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Frequently required standing, bending, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms. Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, talk, and hear. Ability to use hand tools. Ability to read applicable instructions.
