Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for thier smaller, 24/5 manufacturing facility near Franklin Park. The ideal Maintenance Team Lead will have a heightened electrical aptitude and be able to interpret schematics & perform basic PLC troubleshooting. Additional knowledge / experience with facilites maintennce (boilers & HVAC) would be preferred. This is a Day Shift Position workign Mon-Fri and offers a flexible schedule. The Maintenance Team Lead will be teh acting assistant to the Maintenance Manager. This is hands on role working on the manufacturign floor working with tenured Maintenance Techs & Machine Operators. Any hours over 40 / week are eligible for OT. Comply with all Safety, Operational and Employment policies and practices. Ensure team is following protocols pertaining to safety, quality, production, documentation, reports, good manufacturing practices, 5S compliance and cleaning procedures. Seek out opportunities to improve established manufacturing practices and anticipate inefficiencies and bring constructive solutions Understand machine requirements for effective and efficient operations. Understand defects to assist in rectifying issues. Train and mentor employees Support activities including analysis of departmental costs, investigation of significant variances, corrective actions and communication to teams of actions taken.
