OPEN Job Summary:

People In Motion is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at People In Motion. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and production impact. The Maintenance Planner also oversees the storeroom, including ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory control of equipment parts and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Production Team to determine, assign, and prioritize work orders and preventive maintenance. Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to reduce production disruptions. Manage small maintenance improvement projects, such as upgrading parts and processes. Utilize CMMS systems for inventory transactions, parts data entry, and work order scheduling. Develop and analyze technical preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Organize labor, parts, materials, and other resources for efficient maintenance execution. Use manuals, blueprints, and schematics to develop work instructions and repair plans. Ensure maintenance technicians have the necessary tools and parts to complete tasks. Manage storeroom inventory, including identifying necessary spare parts. Communicate with vendors regarding supplies and planned work. Maintain records and generate reports on maintenance performance metrics. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

Follow all relevant food safety rules, including SQF, GMPs, and Food Defense. Report any food safety violations immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of equipment maintenance, scheduling, and storeroom management. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Familiarity with CMMS or other maintenance software systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and lift 15-20 lbs as needed.
