Job Description
As a Maintenance Supervisor, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of workplace protocols. You are responsible for upholding rules of procedure and occupational safety and health instructions to maintain a safe work environment. This includes ensuring adherence to hygiene and storage rules at the workplace. You must follow & lead all process specifications and guidelines, with a particular focus on safety rules during interventions under lockouts and in automatic zones. Leading the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) approach is crucial, as you will conduct VSCs and enforce commitments made. Additionally, providing training for new entrants on health, safety, and working conditions is essential to ensure they are well-prepared. Addressing losses such as water and energy by carrying out necessary repairs and working in coherence with energy policy is part of your responsibilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards and ensuring operational efficiency. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Takes the lead for all emergent repairs, tracks frequency, and details of breaks downs. Organize, coordinate, control and optimize the activity of your team (in particular minimize non-value-added time) Supervise hierarchically and lead your team Monitor work order backlog, schedule in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable response time and level of open tickets Distribute the work, control its proper execution, and monitor data entry. Report forward as necessary to ensure system has meaningful & comprehensive data. Provide training to team on data entry as needed. Contribute to the development of employees (professional interviews, training actions, etc.) Implement management standards (field tour, 5 min point, maintenance point, 5S, visual management, passing of instructions in pre-shift meetings) Be a leader and carry out projects with the Maintenance Manager Ensure the smooth running of the workshop in terms of productivity and ensure coordination with the Production Departments Organize preventive & curative maintenance operations and check that the finished product is running smoothly, in close collaboration with production Ensure compliance with procedures, status of controls, recordings (CMMS) and calibration of tools Partner with department leaders to ensure regulatory monitoring of the installations (carrying out inspections, compliance) Carry out or participate in maintenance studies and services (specifications, consultation, technical choice, prevention plan, implementation, acceptance, preventive plan) Engage with the Maintenance Manager on budget Organize and verify records on quality documents and CMMS
