Job Description
Overview Seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance function for our manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all production equipment, facility systems, and maintenance personnel. This position will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage maintenance staff, maintain regulatory documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support production objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive manufacturing maintenance experience, and advanced electrical troubleshooting skills with fabrication and welding equipment. Duties Supervise, train, schedule, and direct maintenance personnel. Plan, assign, and prioritize daily maintenance work orders to minimize equipment downtime. Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities for all manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and productivity. Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and service providers. Maintain maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and related documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and company regulations. Manage chemical inventories and ensure all required documentation, SDSrecords, storage, handling, and regulatory paperwork are maintained and current. Assist with capital equipment installations, facility improvement projects, and equipment upgrades. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to equipment failures and downtime events. Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure critical replacement parts are available. Support production operations by responding promptly to maintenance emergencies and equipment failures. Promote a safe work environment and ensure maintenance personnel follow all safety procedures. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing maintenance enviornment. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices. Experience maintaining chemical management records and regulatory documentation in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols within a team environment. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, mechanical diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot engineering issues. Knowledge of maintenance repair procedures specific to manufacturing environments. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting. Ability to manage facilities maintenance teams efficiently while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
