Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for their CPG Manufacturing Facility near Monmouth IL. The current Maintenance Manager is retiring but will be working with the new Manager for several months to ensure a smooth transition. The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance department of 15-16 Direct Reports to ensure optimal performance of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This role drives preventive maintenance programs, minimizes downtime, supports plant projects, and ensures compliance with safety & food quality standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to supporting plant operations A significant relocation package is available for candidates needing to relocate. Interested candidates should contact Lee Douglas @ 610 617-1447 or email a current resume to LDouglas@judge.com This job will have the following responsibilities Lead, schedule, and direct all maintenance personnel to ensure efficient execution of daily activities Provide hands-on leadership, working alongside technicians when needed Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness through CMMS systems Oversee maintenance, repair, and continuous operation of all plant equipment and facility systems Ensure all equipment meets operational, safety, and food safety standards Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders, scheduling, and asset tracking Coordinate maintenance inventory to ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials Maintain accurate reporting of maintenance activities, including daily summaries Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability Support and lead plant improvement and capital projects Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors Degree -or- Trade School Certifications Preferred 5+ years of experience in maintenance management / supervision within manufacturing Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and conveyance systems Experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs and CMMS systems #JDP
