Job Description

Job purpose To provide leadership and focus in all aspects of maintenance support to all of TASUS Indiana Duties and responsibilities Oversight of general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds. Develop and maintain schedules for preventative maintenance Keep maintenance records for all equipment Management of maintenance staff Communicate with insurance carrier to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and property are adequately insured and compliant with regulations Work with operations manager and the production team to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner with minimal disturbance to factory output. Oversee that facility and grounds are kept in condition consistent with executive team standards. Oversee safety compliance throughout entire facility and grounds Solicit bids / estimate for all work to be performed by outside contractors Ensure that proper permits and regulations are being followed in all projects Provides a variety of work with maintenance, which includes carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair Oversee and manage paint waste disposal including storage, training and record keeping. Ensure all MSDS documents are maintained and current Ensure that outside contractors follow all established safety guidelines and use proper PPE Responsible for plant safety and compliance with
ISO14001
requirements and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Injection molding machine background Strong Electrical trouble shooting background Welding - TIG and brazing Ability to effectively motivate and gain consensus when problem solving Good oral, writing and interpersonal skills Leadership abilities that includes strong Team Building experience Engineering background with strong mechanical aptitude Problem solving ability Understanding of Lean concepts and their applications Working conditions Manufacturing environment with slight exposure to fumes, high temperatures, noise, dirt, dust, etc. Physical requirements Walking, standing, lifting, stooping, climbing Direct reports Maintenance Technicians
