REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required): Teaching experience of 4+ years, with a minimum of 2 years preferred. Proficiency in using instructional software and various hardware devices commonly employed in SCEC, which includes but is not limited to: Clever, Canvas, Skyward, Kami, NWEA, Magic School, Aleks, Red Bird, Connect Ed, Benchmark, HMH, SAVVAS Easy Bridge, G Suite, Newline Boards, Promethean Boards, Chromebooks, Elmos, Ipevos, and any additional instructional/state assessment tools required in each building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates closely and maintains regular meetings with the District Instructional Technology & Assessment Coordinator to strategize and deliver professional development tailored to instructional software for grades K to 12 (one monthly professional development session, along with a monthly meeting involving all Technology Leads). 2. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills, adept at clear oral and written communication; adept at task prioritization and communication with teachers, students, parents, and colleagues. 3. Proficiently utilizes technology and audio-visual equipment to enhance instructional methods. 4. Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to expand knowledge in content and pedagogy related to integrating technology, encompassing current as well as emerging technological advancements. 5. Collaborates with both school and technical support personnel to ensure seamless and successful implementation of new technologies, encompassing basic hardware/software tools. 6. Maintains detailed records of assistance provided, delivers professional development, and attends training sessions. 7. Scheduling of work hours and appointments should be outside of contracted school hours, never during instructional hours.
STIPEND:
The stipend will be disbursed upon fulfillment of duties and submission of work logs at the conclusion of the 2026-27 academic year.
