Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor/Technician to lead and execute comprehensive maintenance operations within our facility. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will oversee maintenance activities, manage teams, and implement maintenance repair procedures that uphold safety regulations and industry standards. Your expertise in electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and project management will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel. Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors. Participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation and monitoring departmental expenditures. Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures. Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance. Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops Perform other duties as assigned Experience Proven experience supervising or managing facilities maintenance teams within industrial or manufacturing environments. Extensive hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical panels (high voltage/low voltage), and industrial machinery. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance operations. Skilled in project management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; experience working with high voltage systems is preferred.
