You will play a pivotal role in driving operational uptime by mentoring junior staff and executing advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting strategies. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate daily maintenance activities, providing technical guidance and delegation to team members to ensure production efficiency. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in 480V systems, including motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC-based automation. Execute precise repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime. Implement comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to extend the lifecycle of critical production assets. Oversee the upkeep of industrial furnaces, automated conveyors, and robotics, ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards. Interpret complex technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate equipment modifications and installations. Perform structural welding and fabrication tasks to support facility infrastructure and custom machinery requirements. Champion safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives to foster a high-performance, hazard-free work environment. Qualifications Required Skills Journeyman certification or equivalent documented experience in industrial maintenance. 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining heavy industrial manufacturing equipment. Advanced proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including control systems and automation. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage small technical teams. Physical capability to perform tasks in varied industrial conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights. Preferred Skills Direct experience with PLC programming and advanced diagnostic software. Background in managing maintenance projects or continuous improvement programs. Formal training in industrial safety and OSHA compliance standards.
