Background in event support, with increased levels of responsibility. Background working for a university or non-profit.Technical Skills or Knowledge:
High proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Access, and Microsoft Outlook. Learn and master event-related software and systems specific to the Booth Advancement office. Familiar with event registration platform Cvent. Understanding of managing virtual event technologies, such as Zoom and Vmix. Preferred Competencies Manage projects independently, manage up appropriately, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend effective changes, all while achieving key objectives resulting in desired outcomes. Exercise good judgement, handle multiple detailed tasks/projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines with frequent interruptions during seasonal high volume. Professional demeanor, including tact, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach. Excellent problem solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Superior presentation, written, and verbal communications skills. Working Conditions This position is currently expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office. Work on select evenings and weekends. Travel both domestically and internationally.
