Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the plant's existing maintenance program, including preventative and predictive maintenance. Responsible for identifying what areas of the plant's facilities are in need of additional work and necessary improvement. Work in collaboration with the operating staff to make sure the plant is safe and operates at peak conditions every time. Delegate tasks to subordinates as needed. Responsible for budgeting and maintaining the maintenance budget. Negotiates contracts with product vendors as needed. Assists in the hiring of the plant's maintenance personnel. Supervises plant maintenance personnel. Roughly 10 people

THE MACHINES THEY ARE MAINTAINING

Plastic Molding machines, mold setters, PLCs, robotics, conveyors, golfcarts, forklifts, etc……. All machines on the facility they fix and maintain Communicates directly with the Plant Operations Departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas. Participates in objective setting, plan development and review of plant performance Implements programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness and safety Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions Monitors and reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems and utilizes information to help develop predictive and reliability programs Works with Planner/Scheduler to make sure CMMS is utilized to its potential Assists in the hiring of maintenance personnel Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems. Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. Tracks analyses and improves key maintenance parameters such as

MTTR, MTBF, PM

compliance, schedule compliance, maintenance costs including OT, etc. Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventative /predictive maintenance BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Civil Engineering. BS in Manufacturing Engineering preferred. 5 years as a maintenance manager. Training in Lean manufacturing. ? Safety Directs, maintains, enforces and is accountable for Grote's EHS program and policies in the maintenance department. Responsibility & Customer-Focused - Supervises plant maintenance personnel. - Communicates directly with the Plant Operations Departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
