Superior Hardwoods, as part of the Baillie Group, is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
Coordination and prioritization of a maintenance team addressing all daily maintenance and projects on site. Further development and oversight of current Preventative Maintenance program to increase up time and productivity. Daily communication with peers and superiors on status of repairs and projects. To provide yearly budgets for all departments and once approved by the officers, operate at or below the budget for all responsible departments. Ensure all employees in your responsible areas are following all policies, with a heavy emphasis on Safety. Submit and control all Maintenance related purchases.
Expectations:
Minimum 45 hours per week. Supportive of the leadership, positive attitude, follow and enforce all company policies. Manage and take ownership of above responsibilities. Formally review all direct reports at least twice per year Execute all directives and initiatives. Operate within cost and budget objectives and targets.
