We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems and be capable of overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations. This role requires someone who can read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, while also being actively involved in troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Supervision:

Supervise, guide, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians (mechanical and electrical). Delegate tasks effectively based on technician skill levels and project needs. Ensure the team adheres to all safety protocols and maintains high standards of work. Provide ongoing training and development to maintenance personnel to enhance team skills and performance. Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and plant operations.

Maintenance Management:

Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are followed and updated regularly. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Coordinate with other departments to resolve equipment issues and improve overall system reliability.

Technical Expertise:

Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to guide troubleshooting and repairs. Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for necessary equipment and supplies.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with MSHA and company safety standards. Implement and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety measures during maintenance work. Participate in safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve maintenance procedures and reduce downtime. Work with management to develop and implement maintenance strategies and upgrades. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to recommend improvements to equipment and processes.

Qualifications:

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Strong hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret manuals and blueprints. Leadership, communication, and team management skills. High school diploma (Associate's degree preferred); relevant certifications are a plus.
