Job Summary and Responsibilities The Equipment Reliability Manager is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of Intertech's manufacturing equipment, facilities, and maintenance systems. This role leads the development and execution of a proactive reliability-centered maintenance strategy focused on preventing failures, reducing downtime, improving asset performance, and supporting current and future production requirements. Success in this role is measured by equipment uptime, maintenance effectiveness, asset health, cost management, reduction of recurring failures, and the organization's ability to achieve production objectives through reliable equipment performance. The Equipment Reliability Manager is expected to act as the organization's leader for equipment reliability and maintenance excellence while partnering with production, engineering, quality, and other functional leaders to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and operational performance. The Equipment Reliability Manager owns the effectiveness of the organization's equipment reliability and maintenance systems while partnering with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure equipment availability, optimize maintenance resources, and achieve long-term operational objectives. This role is responsible for developing organizational capability in reliability engineering, preventive and predictive maintenance, and fostering a culture where equipment ownership and reliability are shared responsibilities across the business. Skills Proven management experience leading facilities or maintenance teams within industrial or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge including electrical systems troubleshooting (high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using schematics, engineering troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system control. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing resources effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and asset management. Strong leadership qualities with supervising experience in managing diverse teams focused on mechanical systems repair and preventive maintenance. Ability to interpret schematics for electrical wiring diagrams or mechanical system layouts; experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
