Maintenance Director (HVAC) -

Northern Indiana Job Type:
Full-Time | Exempt Join Our Team Good Oil Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team while remaining actively involved in the field. This is a working leadership role , not a desk job. We're looking for someone with a strong HVAC background who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring technicians, and ensuring our convenience store locations are well maintained. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians. Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs. Prioritize and assign work orders while helping complete them. Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs. Manage maintenance inventory and equipment. Coordinate outside contractors when needed. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Qualifications HVAC certification and at least 5 years of HVAC experience required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills in commercial building maintenance. Ability to motivate and hold a team accountable. Valid driver's license. Proficient with basic Microsoft Office applications. A strong communicator who can build accountability while maintaining positive relationships.
Schedule:
