Shop Foreman Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shop
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of technicians
• Review and prioritize service appointments and ensure timely completion of repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, including diesel engine repair, brake repair, and transmission problems
• Coordinate with auto body repair technicians for collision repairs
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor service technicians to improve performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake systems, air brakes, and transmission repairs
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial record keeping
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
