Compensation:

Starting at $21.34 Hourly, $44,387.20 Annually Salary can vary depending upon education, experience, or qualifications. This position also receives a 10% pay differential, and $.30 per hour trade differential on top of base salary listed.

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Employee is responsible with other maintenance supervisors for operation, safety, and security of the HCF Maintenance Shops; including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, construction and plumbing trades. Maintains security of shop areas and both Class A & B Tool Cribs. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, operated properly, and returned to its proper storage after use. Knowledge of the standard practices in the building trades; plumbing; carpentry; electrical; masonry; painting; welding; sheet metal; refrigeration and air conditioning, and mechanical trades. Knowledge of safety measures and occupational hazards of the trades; knowledge of regulations concerning hiring. Ability to read, interpret and work from sketches, blueprints, and specifications. Ability to keep careful and thorough records. Ability to plan, organize, assign and approve or otherwise supervise the work of skilled craft workers. Skill in the use and operation of tools, machines, and equipment commonly used in construction and repair work at the skilled craft level. Skill in evaluating, analyzing, and resolving construction and mechanical problems.

Minimum Qualifications :

Five years of experience in the building trades. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
