In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building's infrastructure, equipment, and interior spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks while contributing to the overall excellence of our facility operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Conduct repairs on electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and specialized electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automated systems and ensure optimal performance. Carry out welding, carpentry, painting (including maintenance painting), and other general repair tasks to uphold building integrity and aesthetics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics, work orders, and inspection logs. Supervise or assist with the installation of new equipment or upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants and communicating effectively about repair status or safety concerns. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation is essential for diagnosing issues accurately. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including building interior maintenance, and plumbing system maintenance is required. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is advantageous for this role. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to address diverse maintenance challenges swiftly. Effective communication skills in English are necessary for clear documentation and collaboration within the team.
