To ensure district facilities and grounds are well-cared for and adequate to meet district needs. A Day in the Life Assist and support the Director of Maintenance with the day to day maintenance functions. Perform routine maintenance and daily inspection of equipment. Support Director of Maintenance with implementation of district procedures. Help supervise and support maintenance repair technicians in the field. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Keep maintenance records and be able to report on activities. Perform repairs and service on kitchen equipment. Assist with snow removal as necessary. Responds to facility emergencies as needed, on call, including after hours. Performs other duties as assigned in order to ensure a well-maintained, clean, orderly and safe environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Maintenance Staff Successful Candidates Pass a background check Previous experience in maintenance and/or managerial role Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. Maintain focus, decision making, remain composed under pressure. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Use standard maintenance equipment including personal computer and phone Ability to interact in a positive manner with others. Primarily indoors but subject to extreme conditions. Frequent walking, some sitting, reaching, carrying, stooping, kneeling, and pushing/pulling
