Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Maintenance Team Lead to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled team responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical and electrical expertise, a proactive mindset, and excellent leadership skills to ensure optimal plant performance and safety. Duties Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for industrial equipment, ensuring timely repairs and minimal downtime. Supervise maintenance technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, multimeters (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters), and other precision measuring instruments. Conduct equipment troubleshooting involving hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and low voltage electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards by enforcing lockout/tagout procedures and maintaining a safe work environment. Assist in training team members on technical skills such as welding (stick welding), HVAC maintenance including HVAC/R systems, scissor lift operation, and electrical blueprint reading. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using multimeters (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter). Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and electrical systems. Knowledge of industrial mechanic practices including equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately for electrical systems and mechanical components. Prior leadership experience leading maintenance teams or supervising skilled trades personnel is highly desirable.
