Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee the upkeep and repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Your leadership will drive proactive maintenance strategies, coordinate repairs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Duties Supervise daily maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical tasks. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests to minimize downtime and disruptions. Oversee routine inspections of facilities equipment and systems, utilizing schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting. Lead repair projects involving electrical equipment, CNC programmed equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, welding, and building interior maintenance. Manage maintenance painting projects and ensure facilities are visually appealing and compliant with safety standards. Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper use of hand tools, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, schematics, and inspections using Maintenance, Repair & Operations software. Ensure adherence to safety protocols while performing electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC system repairs, or any other technical tasks. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to deliver excellent customer service in resolving maintenance issues promptly. Supervise the use of tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment for diagnostics. Qualifications Proven experience supervising maintenance teams within facilities or building operations environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, welding, carpentry, and painting. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and building interior upkeep. Ability to read blueprints and schematics for complex systems troubleshooting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards. Strong communication skills in English for clear instructions and reporting purposes. Hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical equipment repair is essential. Knowledge of industrial painting techniques is a plus but not required. Ability to perform maintenance painting when needed to ensure facility aesthetics is maintained at a high standard.
