Job Description

Essential Functions:
Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices while maintaining a safe working environment. Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts for equipment failures and production interruptions to support operational goals. Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to support plant objectives and improve overall operational performance. Monitor and drive performance against key metrics including safety, quality, equipment reliability, downtime, preventive maintenance compliance, labor utilization, and maintenance cost performance. Utilize CMMS and maintenance data to prioritize work, manage resources, and improve maintenance effectiveness. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions for equipment failures, recurring issues, quality concerns, and operational losses. Support capital projects, equipment installations, process improvements, and reliability initiatives to enhance plant performance. Manage maintenance resources, contractor activities, budgets, and department workloads to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities. Qualifications Required:
3-5 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience managing employee performance, coaching, training, and development. Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, along with preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Experience utilizing CMMS systems, analyzing maintenance KPIs, and driving improvements in safety, reliability, downtime reduction, and maintenance cost performance. Working knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, environmental compliance requirements, contractor management, and risk mitigation processes. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, or a related technical field Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Manufacturing certification, or other continuous improvement training and experience Experience leading reliability improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and equipment performance optimization efforts Previous experience managing maintenance budgets, cost control activities, and capital improvement projects Manufacturing experience in glass, automotive, or other heavy industrial environments
Other Requirements:
Ability to frequently walk, stand, climb stairs and ladders, and access all areas of a manufacturing facility Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift to 40 pounds Ability to work in varying manufacturing environments, including exposure to heat, noise, dust, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions Ability to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and respond to operational or emergency situations as needed Ability to visually inspect equipment, read technical documents and computer screens, and safely navigate around operating industrial equipment _____________________________________________________________________________ We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, which includes 401k, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, company paid holidays, paid vacations, and education assistance.
