Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our facilities maintenance and engineering operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our property. Your leadership will ensure all engineering functions comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and operational efficiency goals. Duties Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Oversee the management of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, and HVAC controls to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory. Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems repair, electrical systems, high voltage equipment, low voltage wiring, and plumbing systems to identify potential issues proactively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting safety audits and training staff on proper procedures using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs from planning through execution while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, schematics updates, safety logs, and incident reports for regulatory compliance. Foster a culture of safety awareness by enforcing OSHA guidelines and promoting best practices in facilities management. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs such as HVAC system repair or industrial maintenance tasks requiring technical expertise. Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within a hospitality or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, electrical troubleshooting (high voltage/low voltage), plumbing system maintenance and repair. Demonstrated proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and inventory control. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair procedures, electrical systems diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and industrial troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards related to facilities management and industrial maintenance practices. Experience managing projects involving mechanical upgrades or facility renovations from conception through completion. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality assurance.
