About the Position We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall physical environment of our long

• term care facility.

This position reports to the facility's Administrator. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring that the building, grounds, equipment, and essential systems are maintained in a safe, functional, and comfortable condition for our resident, staff and visitors. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate all facility maintenance and repair activities. Perform routine inspections of the building, grounds, equipment, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and urgent repairs. Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when needed. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, inspections, and service documentation. Help ensure compliance with safety, fire, environmental, and long-term care regulations. • safety, inspections and assist with emergency preparedness. Work closely with the facility Administrator to prioritize maintenance needs and repairs. Supervisor, guide and evaluate the community maintenance assistant. Qualifications Previous maintenance or facilities management experience required; long
• term care, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred. Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, life
• safety systems, and general repairs preferred. Ability to troubleshoot problems and prioritize needs. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Must be dependable, professional, safety
• conscious, and committed to providing a high standard of service.
