Maintenance Supervisor Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a well known property management company who is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the physical community and lead the service team to ensure high standards of maintenance, safety, and resident satisfaction. The ideal Maintenance Supervisor has previous experience in maintenance, including management experience, has solid communication and organizational skills. The Maintenance Supervisor is a full time, direct hire position in Denham Springs, LA.
Maintenance Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
Supervise & Train The Maintenance Staff to Ensure Prompt, Professional Resident Service Ensure The Property is Walked Daily to Inspect For Needs That Need to be Addressed Manage Schedules & Ensure all Vacations, Holidays, Sick Days & Emergencies Are Covered Create & Implement a Preventative Maintenance Schedules & Maintain a Clean & Organized Shop & a List of Available Inventory Oversee External Contractors, Ensuring Compliance With The Bidding Process & Insurance Requirements Daily Connect With The Community Manager to Discuss Progress, Budgets, & Solutions Ensure Compliance is Enforced According to Company Policies & Laws Such as
OSHA, EPA, & NIOSH
Perform Hands-On Repairs Across Electrical, Plumbing HVAC, Appliances, & Carpentry Systems Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines Maintenance Supervisor Job Requirements:
HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required 2+ Years of Previous Property Management Experience With 1 Year of Supervisory Experience Holds a Current & Valid Drivers License, Have Own reliable Transportation, & Hold a Current
EPA & HVAC
Certification Must be Able to Work 40+ Hours Weekly Including Holidays, Weekends, & Backup Emergency Needs Must be Have Own Cell Phone, Use a Radio On-Site At All Times, be Reliable & Wear a Company Uniform Must be Able to Lift up to 50lbs, Work on Ladders, & Heights Over 5
