Position Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the performance of varied duties to install, repair, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Essential Job Duties Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain facility equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facility as needed and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to avoid disturbing the facility's schedule. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facility. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred. An Associates' degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred. Two (2) years prior Maintenance supervisory experience required. Must have current driver's license. Must have an acceptable driving record and meet all requirements as determined by the Company's automobile insurance carrier as insurable driver.

Physical Demands :

This position is very active and requires constant standing/walking and repetitive motions, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, lifting/handling, pushing/pulling and occasional carrying. The employee must frequently lift and or move objects weighing over 75 pounds and the frequency of treatments may vary.
