We are seeking an experienced, dependable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a apartment community in Ruston, LA . The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, responsive, and capable of both completing maintenance work independently and managing the overall maintenance needs of the property. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry work Diagnose maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repair Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents Conduct routine property and preventative maintenance inspections Maintain the property grounds, common areas, building systems, and equipment Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors when necessary Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and parts Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed Identify larger maintenance or capital needs and communicate them to management Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable requirements Maintain accurate records of work completed and outstanding maintenance items

Qualifications:

Prior multifamily/apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar position preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies Professional and respectful when interacting with residents, staff, and vendors

This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who understands that successful property maintenance means addressing problems quickly, preventing issues before they become larger repairs, and keeping the community in excellent condition.

Compensation:

Competitive and based on experience.

Schedule:
