Lead Maintenance Technician San Diego, CA 92121 - 1st Shift - $22 to $35/hr Job Description We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform necessary maintenance and service tasks to ensure optimal equipment functionality. Responsibilities Work with suppliers and vendors for troubleshooting support and sourcing replacement parts. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and conduct tests and adjustments on a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric equipment. Perform maintenance on Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines, utilizing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Communicate findings and status of work to management. Work efficiently, prioritizing tasks to maintain production uptime. Complete Preventative Maintenance on all equipment as required. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Organize parts storage and tool storage efficiently. Ensure regular and dependable attendance. Essential Skills Electrical maintenance technician skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals. Experience in preventive maintenance and industrial repair. 3+ years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Work Environment The role is based in a machine shop environment, operating from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with very little overtime required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA 92121. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
